Radar Mosaic - Romania

The radar network has been created to determine the position, motion direction and structure of the cloud systems and to estimate the amounts and types of precipitation The Romanian territory is monitored at present by 8 Doppler radar units.
The 8 operational radar units contribute with data to achieving the national radar mosaic, generated every 10 minutes at N.M.A. central headquarters.
